Cubase - how to record from a microphone?

First, check if the microphone is connected.

Press the “F4” key. The “Inputs” tab will display a list of connected devices.

If you see among the list that all devices are marked as “Not connected”, then click on this label with the left mouse button and select the driver name.

Now add an audio track. Right-click on the corresponding workspace, select “Add Audio track…”.

If the “Audio input” field is empty, then specify the value of the working audio input from the list.

Click on the “Add track” button.

To start and pause recording, use the corresponding button on the control panel.
